In a mail group,known as  [The Becoming], Sri Venkat (Ah Venkitesh) drew the attention of fellow members to an excellent critique of Romila Thapar's literary efforts, by providing as an attachment, Chapter 15 of Volume 2, edited by  Sri Wagish Shukla of Sanskrit Studies , Samwat 2063-64 (CE 2006-7) published by the Sanskrit Research Institute of Jawaharlal Nehru University, which is entitled, Romila Thapar on Shakuntala
