Adi Shankaracharya' highlights the characteristics of Subrahmanya or Kanda in bhujangam style, which is like a snake moving on the sides. Subrahmanya means one who is auspicious for brahman, the evolution. Subrahmanya or Skanda is the 'heat' or thermal energy that manifests in six ways, but fundamentally is the same heat, from whichever source it comes. We invoke this Skanda who is hidden in us, to bestow us with good physical and mental health.
